Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon, will be featured during August Community Day!

Evolve Brionne (Popplio’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Primarina that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

Raids:
Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day
Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time
After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Popplio to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!
Four-star Raid Battles
Brionne will appear in four-star raids!
You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these raids.
Bonus for completing Four-star Raid Battles
Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Brionne, Popplio will begin to appear in a 300-meter radius around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!*
* Popplio that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during August Community Day’s three-hour event period.
* Tynamo that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during July Community Day’s three-hour event period.
Field Research Tasks
August Community Day–themed Field Research will be available! Catch Popplio to earn rewards such as additional encounters with Popplio, Stardust, Great Balls, and more!
Popplio Community Day Event-exclusive Special Research
For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Popplio Community Day–exclusive Special Research story.
Shiny: Shiny Popplio will make its debut! Trainers will also have a higher chance of encountering Shiny Popplio during Community Day.
Pokémon GO Web Store Community Day Bundle
An Ultra Community Day Box featuring 10 Ultra Balls, one Elite Charged TM, and one Special Research story ticket will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store during the event for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). This web store deal will be available starting August 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. PDT, three days before the ticket is available in the in-game shop!
Now even more Trainers can enjoy the web store! Trainers with Pokémon Trainer Club (PTC) accounts will now be able to log in to the Pokémon GO Web Store with the same credentials used to log in to Pokémon GO. And don’t forget, Trainers can get a 15% discount on their first web store purchase of any item that costs US$9.99 or more!

Two Community Day bundles will be available during this event.
For 1,350 PokéCoins, you will get 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs.
For 480 PokéCoins, you will get 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
