How to Change Keldeo Form in Pokemon GO?
How to Change Keldeo Form in Pokemon GO: Complete Guide
Keldeo has two forms: Ordinary Form, which is the default Mythical Water/Fighting-type, and Resolute Form, which has a longer horn, feathers, and the ability to use Secret Sword, a Fighting move with 120 Power. Both have the same stats, with a max CP of 4,181 at Level 50, but Resolute is better in raids because it has top-tier Fighting DPS. There are shiny versions of both, which were first seen at the Final Justice event in November 2025.
Acquiring Keldeo
Get Keldeo through the Tales of Transformation Special Research. You’ll get a reward for completing the first few steps. For the first capture, you only need to complete Steps 1 through 4. To unlock form change, you need to do comprehensive research. Use Pinap Berries on the encounter to get a sugar boost that will help you change.
Requirements for Form Change
You can unlock Resolute Form if you get to the last Tales of Transformation page. You need 50 Keldeo Candy and 10,000 Stardust. You can get candy by walking with a companion for 20 km or by doing research. Poffins cut the distance in half to 10 km. You can alter the form back to its original state at any moment without any further expense.
